New Pioneer Flying wing Kit!


Hi Guys,
My is here, I ordered the kit. Really looks nice, I did some work on the wood frame, re-glued all of the wood frame with good CA, as they do not use much
Also and added some ply to the firewall to make it stronger.
Also installed my Axi 2820/10 fit perfect! and removed all of the graphics on the fuselage, and the bottom of the wings!
Ordered some more HS-65HB servos!

Looking forward to your flight report on this bird. Love the design but the graphics could have been left to the end user to apply or not.

Now that I see all the wood work on the inside I am NOT as mift about the price.
I was comparing the cost to the 2.6M Foamy FOX .

Still I wish they had not put the RAD paint scheme on on Marske's pure Winged glider.

IS the YELLOW a Painted ON color ?
Or is the Foam coloered yellow ?

I ask thinking that I MIGHT BE ABLE TO REMOVE the rad scheme IF the yellow didint come off also.

Otherwise The white one will be my choice for removal.

I'd LIKE to try Aero Tow with this !
Is there room for another Servo and release mechanism ?

I just ordered one didn't see a color option hope its not yellow. Looked white in the picture.

Need to decide what motor ESC prop and spinner.

Also need to decide on servos, looks like you need five?
Two airleron two elevator and one rudder?

Yes needs 5, I think some nice Hitec HS-65MG would work great. The one I tested had a 3536 1000kv and thought it had plenty of power.

So much for reading comprehension, I didn't notice there was a arf. Seems like a very good deal good deal considering with the kit you need 5 servos, a motor and an ESC, plus the work to install everthing.

They DID have some rtf's for $199 and the bare kits for $129

Cant find the RTF's any more :-(

thanks - I was able to cancel my order and get the ARF - lot better deal unless you have all the gear laying around.

I just ordered one of these birds but can't find the size of a spinner OD. Does anyone know what size the front of the fuse is?

Yes the front of the fuselage is 40mm

Thanks for both answers Joe. I have a alum spinner that will work great for this. Now to order a 45mm yoke for a folding prop.

funky tattoo graphics


Hi Guys,
I like white wings so I removed all of the funky tattoo graphics Just use some packing tape and have at it! I am also going to install some winglets on the wing tips that I have.!

YES way to many question. THE NEED FOR SLOWNESS.


Like to know how slow can she fly before stalling, does she drop her nose in stalling or a wing. Is she a stalling Queen. Do you need two football field to land her since she don't have flap to slow her down. Any idea on how to brake her speed without stalling beside using her prop to slow her down. She looks fast, any idea what her top speed is and does she flap at top speed like some delta wings. I like speed but live in a city Environment. A challenge to land my Culris 102 inch glider in a baseball field with building,street lamp poles and telephone pole all around.City environment is great place for thermals. Can stay up more than my battery allow me to.

It slows down pretty slow for landing just get it to slow and will start dropping a wing. Never did do a speed test.
