If you could only have ONE plane...

...what would it be?

I know this has been asked before, but if for some reason you could keep just one of your planes, and that's the only plane you would ever have again, which one would it be and why?

I don't have many to choose from, but I'd choose my Super Cub. It's not necessarily the most fun plane I have to fly, but with options like floats, the aerial drop module, aerial photography, and easy-to-make modifications, it's definitely the most versatile.

Giant Super Sportster for me with a DLE30... this is a plane I don't own, but would if I only could have one.

Of what I own, my Goldberg Sukhoi.

A GWS Slowstick with a brushless motor would be my choice. Maximum fun with little outlay. George

Twisted Hobbys 32" Xtra Slick if it had to be one I own now.
Twisted Hobbys 32" Edge 540 if I can buy something I don't own.

Great 3d fun, highly durable, and can be flown in my backyard.

I'd find a different hobby.
Like saying you could have only one golf club.

3D Hobby Shop 71" AJ Slick with the Red Bull color scheme. I know, you can't get that color scheme any more but the question was an "If" question so I can dream.

CompArf Corsair with wing fold option and a Moki 250 5 cylinder. My Super Sportwin would be on the list as well.

I'm sure there are bigger and better and more exciting planes, but drawing from those I've actually flown, it would be a Sniper X-II or Hacker Extra 330cs. Ie., the planes in my fleet that get the most air-time and make me feel like a hotshot.

Mine would also be a 71" Slick. Good compromise size wise and only using one 6S lipo

I'm with Lead Chucker, a 3M MG is much fun ccompared to everything else, you thermal it, do aerobatics, do high speed passes, just about anything the other models do.
I actually cried when I smashed my 2.5 M Hotliner due to bad Rx batt. I still need to replace with a newer faster hotliner. I've flown just about every thing else sport, pattern, scale, floaters, slope, heli, but when i woul have to chose one model only, a good 60-80 inch Hotliner can do it all.

Just my $2.00, soon to be 2cents, worth,

Crunch
