I bought 4 of the turnigy servo's after going through about five originals. They look good and are the same size as the original. Ironic though since I reviewed them haven't had an oem servo fail

I hope Xheli starts stocking 9117's and parts I really like doing business with them. I hate ordering a heli unless I see a parts page or in the case of the 9116 knowing that 9100 parts fit.

Very difficult heli to learn to fly, slow and mushy response, loves to roll, poor in wind and not stable. Parts could be a problem as Walkera discontinued this heli about 3 years ago. Finding decent motors for this heli can be difficult as the usual upgrades that work on the HBFP and other more current FP helis don't seem to work well with older Walkera electronics. On the plus side, if you can learn to fly this heli, nothing else will be a big challenge. Realistically, the HBFP and Walkera 4# (same as Falcon 40) are the only FP helis we had to learn on 5 years ago. So, a lot of people started this way. For most people it took at least 2 - 4 weeks to just be able to hover and probably 6 -10 weeks to be able to fly forward and turn with any success; just as a comparison to the 45 flybar self-stabilizing helis you have today.

I wouldn't count on them having it any time soon. I've sent them a couple emails about it, never got a response but then, they've never responded to an email, kind of indicative of their level of customer service. Banana Hobby is a pretty big DH dealer and they at least answered my email with the fact they didn't have a stocking date but assumed it would be mid-summer before they were ready to retail it.

As for parts, everything from the 9104 except swash and the control board should work and the 9104 parts are readily available and inexpensive. I'll make sure the parts are compatible when my 9117 arrives but I'm confident that it will be much like the 9100 parts fitting the 9116.

Bit the bullet and ordered a 9117 from banggood today for $100. Should be interesting to compare to the 9116 which is still my favourite. In January I got my first heli a 9053, now I have a s107, 3 v911, 2 9116 and a 9117 now on the way. I think drugs are less addictive!!!! Not to mention I have now got three of the neighbors into s107's

How is the quality of the Titan? Is it as good as the other T-Rex clones?
I have a HK450 v2, and it seems ok, but all the bolts and screws are a bit crappy.
Im bidding on a Align T-rex 450 Sport on ebay, used 4 times, with heaps of spares and upgrades hope I get it.
