No, Spektrum/JR radios will only bind to Spektrum/JR receivers. This is true of almost all 2.4Ghz radios, there is no standardization. The lack of standardization means some radios are better than others. Spektrum/JR is in the middle of the pack, I'd say Airtronics & Hitec are superior, even though they are less expensive.

Thought this would b the case, I just didn't want to go through all the binding and unbindig process, you confirmed my thoughts.

Different part. I may be wrong in calling it the "Lower Rotor Spindle" but that's what it says on my parts list diagram.

Here is a picture.

Hi Bear!

I'm about 40 minutes from Riverhead, in Greenlawn. I go to the shooting range out there though

Thanks for posting a pic. That part is what I suspected you were refering to when I initially read your post.
yes that should not spin on the shaft at all. Can you hold the shaft stationary and turn the lower blades? If not, That's not the problem.
Those screw should go into the holes on the outer shaft

I don't have mine in front of me to look right now. but I'm sure we can get U fixed up and flying again.
It's a simple machine... there are a finite # of things it can be

Yes. The lower blades turn. Pretty sure this is the problem. When screwing in the 2 screws to line up to the little hole, the plastic stripped. It's my fault, probably trying to snug it up a little too much. I'm thinking that part should be aluminum for a little extra strength. Or include an aluminum one in the upgrade kit.

Yes, you are right pretty close and much better than the $239.99. I did not understand why the price was increased. We had a debate earlier ( March time I think) about that.

I read some earlier post about some issues with this heli. Can anyone confirm if they have been resolved or are there long term fixes. The thought of a coax that can fly outside with some wind is very interesting.
