how do you figure "same price" ? there's no radio with the blade is there? thats another $150 and up.

It would be a no brainer if it really was the same price but they're not.

The X350 is 239.99 . Add a Hi performance shaft to make it $255.99
The Blade 130 is 279.99 It doesn't come with a radio so you must Add a mimimum DX6i for $159.99 to make it $439.98.

$439.98subtract 255.99 is a difference of $183.99

That's almost $200 bucks more. For that kind of dough is sure as hell better perform!

But I don't want to argue with my friends here anymore. I'm glad that we have as many choices as we do to fly.

Almost all experienced pilots have over the years acquired a good hobby grade radio. If you check earlier posts, posters included myself asked if the x350 could be flown with a Spektum radio. Yes for an advance pilot with a Spektum radio is the same price. My x350 so far cost me extra $60, for motors and HP shaft plus another $60 from HK to convert to BL. You need $139 extra to convert to BL for the OEM parts and $20 for the shaft which a must otherwise you will spend extra money for the blades (unavoidable blade strikes). I fly the x350 since January and I know what I am talking about. Have a nice flight.

I am an experienced pilot and have a good radio (Futaba) . I still can't fly a 130 unless I spend $160 on a DX6i. If I (Les) want to get a 130 in the air, I'm paying $440.00
Not every one flys spektrum.
The only essential upgrade for the X350 is the Shaft set. $15.99
It flies fine with the brushed system. Many, many Flights on mine no problem.

A comparable sized DH 3 channel coax, with bigger motors, costs about $60 and even has the tail motor. Adding a swashplate and two servos shouldn't cost another $150 - $200. Fair or not, that's the perception the X350 faces. You have what is typically viewed as an entry level product using engineering borrowed from $20 3 channel coaxes. It's going to meet a lot of sales resistance.

Oh yes. the Anylink. I sell those. They will not allow you fo fly a Spektrum with a Futaba.
They Allow you to fly a Tactic with a Spektrum, or Futaba or Hitec.
You still gotta buy a $160 radio if You wanna fly a Blade 130

...or at least a DSMX or DSM2 Module for your non Spektrum radio.

http://www.horizonhobby.com/products...le-SPMMSFUT720

..and it better be a Specific Futaba or no dice from Horizon

I have a 7C. No module for that radio. I still gotta spend the $$ for a minimum 6ch Spektrum radio
