Eventually I am not a long time flyer. I got with confidence what DP suggested.

I have talked to Max at Perkrcmodels and he confirms there certain categories with free shipping to US, however the 350 is not in that group.
I explored their web site and can see where the smaller Helios and a list of parts are shipped free.
I have to say the $15 or 20 charge is not unreasonable and will be placing my order.

Hopefully, that will extend the life of the stock brushed motors, also, I think I will limit the flight durations to around7-8 minutes on this bird to let the little motors have a chance to cool off in between flights.
Real good idea, however i can't seem to find them on Maxx Products web site. Can you help me out here?
Thanks

any heat sink for a 20mm motor will work or specifically for 180 brushed motors with the two flats, such as these:

I used those Maxx Prod sinks only because I already had them in my inventory as I use them for 20mm brushless EDF setups.

Are you still happy with your X-350

Any issues, crashes, unresolved problems? This thread has been very quiet-is it, no news is good news?

Nothing that I know of. I just completely disassembled my heli yesterday. I finally crashed it enough that I needed to replace the main gear.

YIKES, just got mine. Charging up the batteries, but the wind is picking up. Will probably do a little messing around in the garage later.

Have flown Rc for many years but this thing has me a bit intimidated.

Be smooth on the sticks, and you will not have a problem.

Well, I got started with a real bang. Rather not say just how that happened, but I ordered a new fly bar. Have absolutely no idea how I'll get tie pin out and the new one in. All else seems to be ok. Is that going to be a major project requiring a whole new set of special tools?

Guess I now know why I avoided helis all these years.
Any and all comments are welcome.

Thanks Tim. It turned out to be just as you said. Easy when you have an experienced pro coaching. Should have it in the air in a couple days assuming the new fly bar gets here on schedule.
