Thanks. I've been reading up on polycarbonate, otherwise known as "bulletproof glass". Its really amazing stuff! Lighter and stronger than G10, impossible to shatter or tear. Comparable to carbon fiber and Kevlar in a lot of respects and superior in others, and its cheap cheap cheap. I'm surprised it's not the dominant material of choice for quads.
