RJ Gritter 3Decathlon by Fancy Foam

This thing flys awsome! I just love seeing this thing fly in knife edge. Not sure why but it looks cool to me. All around this plane is fun. RJ did an awsome job and is great to work with. So far we have had it at the JR indoor and the Wichita E-fly. In Wichita I sold all the ones I brought the first day and had to go back to the shop to make more. I sold those the second day. Everyone who got to fly it wanted one and some were even calling their buddies to tell them they needed one.

I would be one of those people. I bought, built, and flew mine saturday in Wichita! I have video from me and Adam flying that still has to be edited. Here's a pic from this past sunday at a local church gym. Absolutely awesome plane!

I haven't had this good of time with a new plane in a while. I got more flights on it over the weekend (e-fly spectacular) than any of my others because it is simply just so much fun! RJ did an amazing job designing this one, well done! Thanks Mike for the great kit

Nice guys, I'm glad you're all enjoying them! This is one of my favorites too because it's just plain fun. I always love how much it will do that it just looks like it shouldn't!

Is there a significant difference between the Depron and EPP versions that were shown at the JR Indoor event?

Physically, no, they were an identical design. However, I flew the EPP version and decided it really needs to be scaled up or tweaked before it's ready for production. I don't remember what equipment was on it or what it weighed, but it felt too heavy in the air for me to be happy with it.

The depron one is great, though!

This plane would make a good joke for all the circle fliers. Start off flying it in a slowly turning long circle then go right into a rolling harrier.

I just flew a revised epp version lase night. I have the wing loading close to the depron version now. I want to fly it a little more but I think it is close.
