I used card on the Bearcat ,all I can say is make sure you seal it fast as the slightest bit of moisture (like humidity) and it oil cans and nothing and I do mean nothing can get rid of the wrinkles once the card has taken the moisture on and expanded.

Bill,

It's 250 gsm which I guess works out to about 42lb/ft!?

Steve,

I though I may have wrinkle problems but I did some test pieces for a new Ohka a few months ago, they are unsealed and they are still perfect. It's not regular card stock but I can't identify what it is. I picked up a stack of it for free. The PU is good to, it doesnt 'soak' into the card.

Hopefully, ... it's not sealed with wax.

Have you tried painting it?

The card stock is raw. It's actually kind of like very thick filter paper, water doesn't actually bother it. It even sands ok. For some reason I tried spray painting a piece. I think I was actually trying to test the paint for reason. I think I was testing the colour, it didn't work for that purpose, the paint just dissappeared into the card. The PU sticks to the brilliantly the epoxy should be just fine. It will be glassed with 2/3oz cloth and/or tissue.

Good one Matin.

Rain has stopped, lawn is mowed, normal building has resumed. 3 short after work sessions sanding foam so far. Time to start on the delicate shaping. I thought this one would be much eaiser than the Skyknight but straight lines are hard!

Sorry Matin. It just hant proved practical to do a time lapse of the sanding.

Not just that, ... I'd keep the fuselage and nacelles and dump the rest.
