Everything else they make is poly. I doubt if they`ve changed for this one. Just my guess.

Hope so too. The new 90 mm F-18 is epoxy. I hope all new HET jets will be too.

Since we are asking questions. Does the kit come with the retracts? And if it does can it be had without them? Will electric retracts be available for it?

Air up/down retracts with trailing link struts (that have good springs) are available as an option. That what we have on our L-39 (they use the same setup). They work wonderfully, and hold air for a week.
Some folks are using the E-Flite 25-46 retracts, (with slight grinding of the mounting rails) but you can't use the HET struts with them.

It's all epoxy, no polyester. the retracts, struts & wheels are optional like on the 90mm F-16 and L-39. the larger electric retracts will work as well.

Did they figure a way that you can use the HET struts without their retracts since I like electric retracts!

They are air retracts.

Sorry, the HET struts & wheels are designed for their retracts that have a compression trunnion.

That's the one thing that I really hate with my l39 you have to use their retracts or you cant use their struts and if you don't use their struts then you won't find any that fit in the pre-made moulded recesses!

I wish they would leave the recesses out so that we can fit what we like!

I'll still buy one though if the price is right

Been waiting to see how this looked in the flesh, besides the colours it seems to have come out really nciely. I think 10s HET setup is going to be a lot faster than 130! I was planning on an 8s 3Kw setup with one of the new 12 blade rotors when they are ready. Hows the wing strength across the saddle area now? It looks pretty strong.

are you saying that HET are making a 12 blade?
