Lol, I don't really get into the *speed* wars. Always turns into a cock fight about who spent $400 more to go 5mph faster.
I'll run the traps any day, but you hardly ever see a good setup these days.

Sniper XL90 has been dopplered at over 160mph (I forget exactly how fast to be honest) with stock HET setups I don't even want to know how fast I was going on the full-power dive that destroyed the prototype, but I guarantee it was well over 160!!!

Sidetracked

@falconjet50, man that Bird came out really nice, I am going to have to step it up a notch. Are those eflite retracts? What struts did you use?

@Scalefan. Hey AL, I got sidetracked on my build and just glued in the rudder and put in some lightning holes in the wings and rudder.

Ralph that's not like you, although you usually have 3-4 models on the go at once hehe

Interested to see your scheme when its all built up, looks interesting, I love the green scheme and getting one of those when HET confirms the elevator issue is fixed.

got word from my supplier it was due to the factory not drilling the hinge holes in the proper place and some missed the wood block they needed to go into creating a slightly unstable elevator in very few cases, but airing on the side of caution is best with models this fast and I'll wait till they say its good to go.

"Slightly unstable elevator in a very few cases" .................Excuse me? LOL, that`s just too funny!

Sounds like third party BS being passed on down the line.

More coverup from HET?

Oh well, whatever.

Didn't want to stir any s%^t in the thread sorry

I was just saying what I was told, we have allot of snipers in AU flying, some have the elevator flutter, some don't, the supposed reason was pre-drilled hinge holes missing the mounting blocks
