When that claaanggg happened, John Quigley was 14mins from the end of his 3 hour slope challenge. We both looked at the model spinning to the ground.

We were mid conversation about losing sight of models.

I felt so guilty when neither of us knew where his model was.

We were looking all over and I sad Spin It John'.

I. saw it behind us and John just scraped over the edge and back into the lift.

Talk about get out of Jail.

Nah, not really these things happen ,if anyone builds these things and expects every thing to just happen smoothly and feels hard done by when it doesn't then they should not be in the game .Besides it now gives me the chance to rethink the tail group as a removable section for ease of transport . So there is always a good side to these things

Sure do. I have to confess I had forgotten that the PSS was a competition. I don't believe it even crossed my mind duing the Aerostar build. That must have been deleted from memory during the flight my of first PSS build (the Ohka) at last years event.

I watch Jans videos of my flights most nights. Skyknight is my favorite! Shame I miss judged the rotor on the Aerostar. Seems to get exponentialy worse the further you go back. I'm studying hard for next year. Love to see some more Shane.

As for the Fouga, it wasnt the only aircraft to do that this year. I did that with my zipper, lucky its a carbon wing. All just memories now. Looking forward to making more next year.

Sucessful Delivery

Stove has been delivered to Base Camp. Got to have a quick fly whilst there but was not great conditions. A SW wind so had a go off the South launch site first and scratched around then after the Jellyfish students had packed up I had a launch off the West face. Scratched around again but at least I had a fly.
There was something noticably different at base camp, can anybody see what it is on the last photo ?
Andrew
