Analog Servos

"At 100Hz that would be digital, analogs would just buzz/heat up."
I'm using 2 HS-485HB analog servos on a Servo City gimbal.
Just the standard, occasional servo buzz.
Will check next time out for heat...

There are couple of still shots that show how he did the camera mount (@1:10min). I think it might be DIY system.

On this video @48sec there are some shots of the setup, too
Crudd Quadcopter goes to Sea! (2 min 42 sec)

and at the end he has his gain settings (basic all 160% and atti all 80%)

The GoPro plate can slide inwards or outwards, and the legs allow it to be underslung (as well as battery). I put a bit of jelly tape between the plate and frame, and between plate and GoPro. Still get jello effect when shooting at 1080 30FPS, but nothing when I shoot at 720 60 FPS. Pretty happy with it.

The GoPro plate is acrylic and the legs are polycarbonate... indestructable :P comes with all nice stainless hardware and nylon lock nuts as well.

Cheers
Where did you get the leg extensions? Or did you construct them? Thanks.

Thx, TJ.

It seems that the plate is angled, and I am not sure how he managed to make is so. Maybe he heated up the acrylic plate, and applied a small angle?

I think he's offering to sell leg extensions and camera mounts if there's enough interest.
Check his previous posts...

Exactly.
We were heating/bending acrylic in 7th grade shop making bracelets 45 years ago...

Lipo wiring

I'd look for residual wire/solder at the broken connection.
A close inspection (magnifier) should give you evidence of the previous connection.
Be careful with all those bare lipo lugs.
One short and it will blow up in your face...
By the way, this guy just happens to be a "TJ" also, it's not me.

I guess I will just toss this lippo in the trash with the other one with the broken balance connector wire. I don't want to blow myself up. Thanks for the advice!. Its a shame though as this lippo only has been used 2 times. You would think they would construct them better.

Mauro

P.S.: Yes, just look into the video again I 100% sure, solder together with the other red wire just like the back one. Don't trash it, send it to me in Brazil....
