All I can try is, to check soldering.

Bullet connector on the #2 or #3 motor (if I remember motor numbering on the F450... left side). Pull the shrink off the male ends of the bullet connector (motor side) and re solder and reshrink). Fly over grass a while after.

Assistant with tablet

Just wondering if anyone has seen an app for Android Tablets to interface to Assistant software?? I ask as it would be easier to carry my tablet to field than ancient Laptop!

I am fairly illeterate when it comes to modern PC's and Tablets, used to be up on all this but been a few years back. (Timex Sinclare and Vic 20 days!)

Since 1902. Maybe.

I searched for such thing for my Samsung S3, and so far nothing.
There's few posts about a version for iPad, but not available either.
That a shame because an Android version would rock for sure on the field.

The assistant may run on a Win8 phone tho, but since they sold like 3 of these worldwide...

With either app it will require a BT interface that is also not available.

I use a Windows 7 netbook for the DJI assistant, which works really well. Problem is that tablets have been killing them off for some time ... not even sure whether you can get them any more ?!

Lenevo has some and also Win8 net books may have to go that route

Sorry that happened! Good to see it was not caused by the "woodies", because that is what I am using now. Do the "woodies" seem smooth outside? Because of weather, I have only been able to hover in the house. Can do a 5 minute hover in manual mode with a locked in hover (if I hit anything in the house, that will be the end of that , so seems pretty smooth to me. How do they do in the wind, I am wondering how the wider surface may be pushed around.

I just checked the motor and soldering on it. I think it is OK?
I will resolder anyway, but...
Were the solder problems on motor connectors or ESC connectors?
Should I check ESC also?

@ Old guy 1 First impression was fine, it gave more lift (I used graupners before). But it was no wind today.
