My 2 cents about safety, I made a transport box that also doubles as a safety box, every time I'm doing stuff on the quad with the LiPo plugged in, in the software config, etc, it's in the box, it will prevent any unwanted rotation. And even for normal flying at the field I plug the battery when it's in there. Few days ago my quad made a light contact on my roof, luckily it did not go down (the quad, not the roof ;] ), but that made a small dent in a shingle, the concrete kind, so I have absolutely NO DOUBT it can cut a finger clean.

Also, IMHO a neck strap is a real plus about safety, can handle things with both hands if needed, and still have the TX within reach...

Be careful with the props restrained and motors energized.
It only takes a few seconds to burn out an ESC or start a battery fire.

If you weren't around a few pages ago (this thread moves fast!) I posted some bench testing results and included the 10" version of the GF woody. You can see my wiki pages here:

and

Cheers!

TYATS a EASY question to answer even for me! its because all the work has already been done and all you have to do is put the quad together and fly!. The other method requires months of programing and code writing that even Einstein would have trouble with!

If you research it, you'll see that it's for larger airframes.
(Naza has flown ~ 100cm).
It offers way-point navigation.
There are a few more adjustment parameters available.
(OSD, FC off center, better gimbal to name some off the top of my head.)
Suggested for commercial use.
Etc.

Bottom line = Naza is quite a bargain...

I was using the Graupner 10x5 e props which are great, but I've always liked the look of the wood ones.
I seem to be getting better flight times with the wood probably due to their wider paddle blades. They also seem quieter to me.

I would add to this that because DJI calls this their "Proffessional" control system you would likely get a much higher level of service from them. It probably uses higher quality components and has undergone more burn-in testing to prove it is worthy prior to testing as well. As TJ says it offers many more features as well however many of these features are available in other controllers for much less money (now) and as GW says there is a bit more technical knowledge needed. (I think that's what he said?!)

And, yes, Naza IS a bargain!

So then when I get to the point of actually making money off of using this thing for a platform for photo and video it might eventually be a good idea? Sounds reasonable

If you are in the US, it may be a while as it is illegal to do so at this time.
