I am not sure but I think the recommendation was to run the servos off a separate BEC. This is what I have always done. I just run the signal wire to the Naza.

That is a good question, after 40 years in a machine shop, I can't hear high pitched sounds. Had my wife listen and she can, but does not know what it is. Do you have any idea?

It is the 8hz whine that DJI esc's emit. Nothing unusual.

Good to know. I had oiled the motor bearings and that didn't help it go away.

Close but no cigar...

That's 8 KILO hz

I don't believe ANY human ear is capable of detecting 8hz.

yes, mine locks up if I dont let it 'settle' after turn on; if I press the shutter before its ready...then its battery out time.
The firmware update wasnt one of the best... Got a lcd bacpac? I cant replay 1080 video anymore thru the bacpac..

still shoots video fine..

That's a standard DJI 3 phase whine. Someone here actually doesn't have that out of their motors?

DJI have never suggested that ... I've always hooked mine up direct, as per the manual.
