DJI Naza FC - First Page Has Links and Tips

I thought that I would break out the Naza from the WKM since that thread is getting quite long. Here is a video test of the NAZA.

TJ has been a great contributor to this thread and the Naza GPS thread. His Blog has links to many answers buried within this huge thread. Enjoy and thank you TJ for your efforts.

Cervanchez posted a video study of the effect of both Basic and ATTI gains in Manual and ATTI mode. It helps visually demonstrate what is going on with the copter at different settings. Well work the time to view.

MOTORS WON"T ARM If your VU is attached to the battery pads on the bottom plate and you have power to the Naza and nothing to the motors, there is an internal fuse between the power pads and the esc pads. Check the continuity and if you have nothing to the motors you have two choices, jumper between the positive lead from the battery and the nearest positive lead of one of the escs or purchase a new bottom plate.

This is a nice explanation on how to set up a Futaba on SBus.

Since Ed started a new thread, I will add what I know. Naza is a brand new core, development began late last year. All in one design, unlike WKM using separate controller and IMU. It is NOT WKM-Lite. It will promise to be priced straightly for hobby segment, fun and sport type flying and light AP work. When DJI dealers are fully informed, I will post more product detail.

Features:
S-Bus support
Dual flight modes – manual and ATTI
Self leveling and Altitude hold
LED multi function indicator
USB interface
2A Power Module?
Assistant Software
Firmware upgradable

Sidney I was browsing the Japanese forums and there was some speculation that there is no compass and that it would be possible to add a compass and GPS later as separate modules.

As far as I know I did not hear the plan. In theory, it is possible. But, I don't think we want to compete with our own product.

Gravity sucks :)
More likely $99 * 3

But then again, wait for a month you'll get the month special price of $99 * 2, wait another 2 months you'll get another discount. So yeah it will end up with $99

He was actually joking. If you follow DJI WKM thread, you'd know what he means by that.

Quinton Marais has no problem for Naza to go three or four times higher. He might come join us the last time I heard from him several days ago.

Quinton Who?
Shouldn't you be adding PPM input to WK-M instead of posting irrelevant info?
