I'm going to get her all together and weigh the BAE Hawk so I can get the correct power to weight ratio. So many EDF'S and battery combos

February is our target right now.
As it's a self start system, we have to put alot of work into making it idiot proof, otherwise we will have many false warranty claims on an otherwise good product.
Turbines are expensive, parts are from Germany and Japan; so we have to get it right.

Nobody wants this to be released more than I. So believe me when I say I'm doing all I can to get it to you as soon as possible.

Vettster,

I am very intrested in one of these, February release date ? I saw his post claiming specifications German, Turbine & Compressor, Japanase bearings etc, it will be a quality unit all for under a grand ? we need more info on the 50 Hr rebuild kits or what after sales backup will be, Latest technology is electric start, and Jetronic control unit to make it safe, their are a lot of safety issues to adhere to, and fire equipment on standby

In Aus, we have to get these inspected prior to flight by registered MAAA miniture gas turbine inspectors to be able to fly at our clubs to be covered by insurance.
Just love the smell of kerosine and sound these things make even just spooling it up and taxie it up and down the runway is adrenalin enough for me.

Mind you the right EDF will outperform a Turbine, I am told.
