From my experience with using the EasyCap and laptop as a viewing device is that the delay is not noticeable unless you have a screen and it side by side, and even then it's only going to be a few frames off (milliseconds).

Cool, thanks. I'm going to try this before I commit to getting the goggles.

What sort of weight are most running with the FPV gear? I will have Sony camera, OSD, GPS and then seperate battery. My FPV battery is 165g so quite heavy!

How are the HK weights on website showing? Are they accurate to a finished plane?

The HK website does not include FPV gear and only a 1,300 mah battery in the Bixler's weight.
My Bixler is 1.3kg (42 ounces) with GoPro, 3,000 mah flight battery, 1,000 mah FPV battery, eLogger/OSD Pro and FPV transmitter. The nose and bottom has fiberglass cloth applied with water based poly. Other users have listed the same setup at 1.2kg.

I fly with a 2200mah for motor, 1300mah for FPV, 140 grams of landing gear as well... the plane can handle it .

well after a weigh in last night I got 460g of FPV gear. Then extra 50g for a larger flight battery so I am looking like the 1.2kg is going to be about right for the weight

The tower is not a tower... it is the exhaust of the power plant.

The osd is cl-osd
