Hi again!

Your best option is to buy the ARF version that comes with a brushless motor pre-installed, servos and all of the necessary hardware like Y-leads etc.

Here you go: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...544&aff=464726

Then all you need is a 20-30A ESC (I use a 30A for peace of mind), and upgrade the propeller to a TGS 6x4E for some serious power

Very cheap and efficient 30A ESC (what I use): http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...205&aff=464726

Prop: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...936&aff=464726

2200mAh 3s will be fine

I have a full setup/overview video of all the mods I used on my FPV Bixler:
HobbyKing Bixler Setup (16 min 30 sec)

In terms of FPV I think that it is the best beginner plane that you can buy if you are just getting into FPV- cheap, stable and very very durable (learnt from crash experience

Here's my FPV setup for the Bixler:
Super Simple FPV Setup (13 min 20 sec)

Anything else just ask

Cheers!

with a 2200mah 3s lipo?
With that motor It looks like you would have to turn the shaft around.

I like the cheap fpv setup!! But isn't your camera velcroed to the top of the plane going to be too wobbly??? It doesn't look real stable.

Ahh! Bad hand launch resulted in ripping my LG out! Took a nice 6x1.5 inch chunk of foam out to the one side of my fuse spar, and some damage on the other side of it.

I already cut a new piece of foam to put in there, glued it in, and used 8 Popsicle sticks (4 in, 4 outside) as bracing and support for the LG. Luckily it was a pretty clean break out (I guess left hand wheel hit the ground first, as that side ripped out, then on the other side the bolts that hold LG on just ripped out!).

I was just getting ready to FPV

All ordered

order the ARF, ESC you suggested and then 2 x 2700mah Zippy Compact 25C batteries. They only 199g so not much of a sacrifice for weight compard to the 2200mah (about 20g difference) The compact range seem way more weight efficient

Yeah that is why I got one, I have been FPVing with 2200 for motor and 1300 for fpv, so for me I will actually be saving about 40 grams (Using a zippy compact 500mah 3s for FPV)

The video TX? If you wanted to broadcast your laptop display you could but you would have to change the display resolution of the computer to match the vTX resolution or it wouldn't look right.

Thanks. That's what I was thinking about but wasn't sure what the name of it was. I want to use my laptop as the viewing device when I fly fpv.

From what I have read, there can be a delay in the transmission when hooking up the RX via Easycap to the laptop. So this could cause problems.
