Hi everyone!

Just thought I'd share a video of my Bixler FPV flight yesterday- I used a JVC Picsio HD Camera (25 - eBay) for the live av camera and to record the flight for later playback

Enjoy!

I am considering buying a used Futaba 9c Super transmitter to use as my primary radio for FPV. I intend to use it with the Thomas Scherrer UHF and have the RVOSD. Any suggestions or words of wisdom?

Did my first FPV flight test! Had a buddy help me do a range test, on ground check he took the plane out to about 200 meters and had no radio glitches and video feed was ok, so I took her up. Up in the air I was getting some radio glitches, and video wasn't all that great, I dont think I flew out past 150 meters at all because of the glitching. All in all it was quite interesting, I don't think I looked at the screen more then a second at a time, and honestly I don't fully trust watching that screen until I get better antennas, but overall I think it's a start!

Hey guys, I bought an FY31ap to use in my Sky Surfer so I can have a return to home feature. I already have a Remzibi OSD. I have only been seeing people using the FY31 with the Hornet OSD or FY117. Do I even need to connect the FY31 to my existing OSD to utilize the RTH feature? Anyone using one yet? It may be a better option to sell my FY31ap and get a Nova OSD that's already got RTH built in.

Who cares what it looks like, as long as it's functional!!! Patch it up and get it back in the air. From your video it looks like you flipped it, but what damage did you do???

Well.. it hit the ground directly on a big rock. Then fliped on the back. The main 2200/3 battery went on passing the epo of the nose. The fuselage in this area is disintegrated to small balls. Also in the servo area ..smalk balls of epo.. not much to use the ca on...

Thats too bad! You could always just buy the "kit" from HK for $35 and replace the fuse. I enjoy watching your videos!

Too windy here this past weekend to test out my Bixler FPV. Hopefully this week!
