just Some Useless Geek
I heard from somebody recently that Adams was making a foamboard in 3mm core size, but I can't find any evidence of this anywhere. Anybody know anything?

I used the printed warbird plans from the scratch built foamies thread printed at 50%. I turned the stabs up just a little and added weight to the nose to get the CG. We all had a good time. Happy Flying.

Here is my first painted (with water based acrylic) MPF plane. No problem whatsoever.

Like it was made for it! And it was!

Really it takes water based paint beautifully.

I would not be suprised if some artsey types start using it instead of canvas.

Cost of MPF Vs $store ReadiBoard

Remember MPF sheets are 1.92 times bigger area (1152 sq in vs 600) and almost 50% thicker (6 mm vs 4).

So, if you buy 10 sheets of ReadiBoard every month and pay 6% tax and use a gallon of gas, that's about $15/month.

16 sheets of MPF delivered to your door is $65. And that is equal to 31 sheets of RB (1.92X16). That would last you 3.1 months. That's less than $21 month.

So, for an extra $6 per month you get real MPF delivered to your door. No paper to remove. 50% thicker and stronger. And, larger sheets which reduces scrap.

Give MPF a try, and my bet is you will never go back.
