Hi Bob,

I tried to get in touch with Adams this week. Got my contacts voicemail, but have not heard back. I sure would like at least a sample run. Gotta buy more foam anyway.

Yes one or more likely two. I would think the cost for two would be close to shipping one since it is dimensional weight anyhow and MI to Ohio is not far.

Don, I am going to buy my usual 4 bundles. Then when I get shipping figured out I will PM you with the details. This will be the Dow High Performance Underlayment. Typically the outside sheets have some damaged from wharehouse handling. Please PM me with a shipping zip code.

I don't want DOW stuff, I want the NEW stuff from the Test run !

I'll be sticking with depron until that happens.

BTW, Fedex seems to have a little bit better price for B2B shipping for the larger sheets.

Check em out.

Ken, on the distribution channel side, have you considered reaching out to Balsa USA? They may have a well-considered position against foam, but if they were to start supplying foam (and perhaps kits), it could make a significant difference in the availability and popularity of foam as a building material.

ya but the foam board is not used for insulation it is used for art/Craft and plane building thus should be flat and smooth.

Bob,
One of the goals of the sample run, would be to get this material to you and other kitters and high volume users initially. We want to make sure this is saleable material.

Will let you know when its available.

Are you guys looking in the right places! I buy 1/4" fan fold at least once a week here in northern ohio as Im a siding contractor. Most of the time I get it at Modern Builders, It is NNOOTT being discontinued and IISS readily available!!! It is also not an insulator but rather it is used to reduce air infiltration.

I called the Modern Builders in Mentor and he whined he could not get it unless I put in a big order, so I did not bother calling another location.

I'd be very interested in FFF that's white and flat and preferably not skinned. I would use about 2 bundles a year but that may go up soon, because I'm looking into a Phlatprinter.
