The world in foam & tissue

My MPF arrived yesterday!
Box was in decent shape. No major damage. Just the customary dents here and there but nothing that transferred to the foam from what I can tell.
The foam looks as described by everyone thus far. If you looking for some good, white, 6mm foam for building foamies delivered to your door (in the US), this is it!
Thanks Guys!

Got mine at 11:30.

UPS managed a dent in the front side which went thru to the 1st sheet.
Not a biggy. as I'm cutting into 24x26 for my vac table and need a Sacrificial piece anyway.

Setting up for first cuttings next.

Is this foam going to bring up the price of kits from those of you that are selling kits?

DOWN NOT UP.

So eventually cheaper by a small amount.

It's cheaper than Depron !

Still, I have to do more Sheet handling in house since the size is a but unwieldy
for packaging and or Shipping.

I'm going to go with 24x16 sheets by cutting each sheet into 3 equal pieces.
Which means reworking all my toolpaths.

I could go with 24x12 too still thinking and deciding.

Got mine today. First thing I tried was sanding it. Sands as well as Depron from what I can see which is very handy. Slightly thinner and flimsier than a 6 mm Depron sheet but otherwise quite nice as it's white and uniform. For the price you can't touch this so I've found my foam supplier from now on.

Got mine yesterday. Two very small edge dents in outside sheets. Very happy with the quality. I was getting tired of Richard Petty blue!

I don't know why I thought you were using FFF that wouldn't even make sense with all the waves and all. I guess it is better for you than Depron.

Well I use a bit of FFF when I want a lot of foam to experiment with cheaply.

My products are all Depron to date.
But I have a box of MDF now and the first cuttings seemed to go well.

Next time it's available give it t try ! 16 sheets 2x4' $65 shipped , not too bad !

Got mine today, looks great! but I now shifted to my giant scale for outdoors and getting the shop ready for a new 40%er.
I'll try to sneek in a Funbat or a Blu-Baby as soon as I get a chance.
