Anxious to see how well that O.S. does for ya. Their Nitro have always been top notch for me. Yeah, hate to have to cut that chin scoop off, but what do ya do?
That's why mine will be electric on this one. I love that scoop.

every OS 2 stroke nitro i've owned has been flawless. Great running engines and every bit worth the premium they command.

Oh, I wanted to get one BAD!!! I already have the gear and even have the funds setting aside just for this, but I know that I'm going to be swamped between now and the start of January with work, so I'm holding out.

It doesn't bother me much to think about it now... but it'll sink in when the build pics and flight videos start to roll in.

3 questions for DLE30 experts...since my 74 will have one....(my first 30cc)

1) What prop do you like on a DLE30?
2) How long do you expect I could fly on an 8oz tank for a mix of slow and fast 3D?
3) What header length do you like for the DLE30 on a can?

(also posted in addicts thread)

Same here, couple more servos comming this week with a 3" for rudder. Motor and bec pro comming from Noll. But I'll probably remove the ice/bec pro/Rx from the 72 Extra since it has all the connections ready to plug-n-play.

Oh need to get some more all thread, going electric here.

Question, all my 25% 8s set ups run 65a +/- with a watts up. I've been running a ice 100, I can save a few bucks and get an ice 75. Worth it? From the pictures they look about the same and I still have 10% more capacity than I need.

Thoughts?

for the little price difference I'd much rather have the overhead and a happier speed controller...

Ive never worried about running the CC ESC's at or a little above their rating.

They, like hacker, are conservative with their ratings.

My EDF with an ICE 100 was pulling 130 Amps at WOT. Never fried the ESC.

After further review, ice 100 from the Amazon seller is about $101, ice 75 is $118.

Case closed.

I wish it were further along, but I've had other 3dhs projects be higher in priority... hoping to fly Noll's 74 on Saturday though
