Pre ordered the red one earlier today along with the a50-12L. Going to try both 6s and 8s setups. They say joe is running the 12L on 8s in the prototype video. Looks like it has good power. Sounds mean too. What props should I try on 6s? 8s?

It was a windy day. So Joe was just using the wind for some fun.

I would try a a 20x10 for 6s and an 18x8 for 8s. I was running an 18x8 in the video. Awesome power to say the least.

I have no more room for airplanes, I have a trailer on the way so no matter how tempting you make this fine bird look Joe I just cant. Sure does look purdy though.

Yep, the edge is still very floaty with the 8s setup. I felt the power was very manageable with the 8s setup for both low and slow 3d and high speed stuff.
I very much enjoy the edge lineup and can't wait to have one of these in my hangar.

How about a comparison to the 71" Slick in terms of flight behavior for different types of maneuvers?

They are both really well mannered airframes that both strive in performing certain manuevers. The Edge is an all out hucking machine that won't drop a wing and therefore gives you the confidence for low and slow stuff. It is also very good at highspeed tumbling manuevers and will still draw some pretty lines. It also has crazy elevator authority for very tight walls and waterfalls.

The 71" will track better and still 3d's really well. It also won't drop a wing and it will give you the confidence to try different manuevers. It doesn't have as much elevator authority as the edge but it will still do fairly tight walls and waterfalls.

Again, they are both great airframes that no one will be dissappointed with. The slick leans a little more towards. precision, and the edge leans a little more towards 3d.
