got a friend with a Mintor 38 in a Pilot Edge 74 and it flies fantastic... the engine is quite a work of are and so is the muffle. I am thinking of getting one for my 74... I believe he is spinning a 20x8 Xoar.

All I have to say is..... Your 74" with the OS GT33 looks like a lot of power...... With a 38CC..... That'd be awesome Lol

Thanks! Just wanted to see how many people fly them. They look like great deals! If one burns out, its like buying a HS65!

I ran the D770's on my 71" AJ Slick for several months. I moved them to a new 26% Yak 54 along with two D771's for the elevators and a D772 for the rudder.

The performance on the 770's was solid and reliable, good enough for me to put them on all control surfaces (other than throttle) of the Yak. The only questions I have will be reliability and wear over the long run.

I'm planning to try some of the smaller ones on my new 48" 3DHS blue/yellow Edge 540 that I'll be putting together in the next few weeks.

I'm converting the Silver scheme Edge I dumped in the water at Nall from an electric to a Mintor 33, not only pretty, but the ones I've seen run very well, never seen one on a 74 though.

I fly, therefore, I crash!!!

As nice looking as those engines are, it's almost a shame to put a cowl on the plane and cover the engine up.

Don't forget to reset your trims after you remove all that weight.

The packs weigh two ounces each more than the original 3850mAH packs I was using and I am flying both these planes on 8S, so that's four ounces for a pair. Considering they won't be right against the firewall as the lead is, it should be just about right, but yes, is good to check the CG and trims....but then again, considering how 3DHS planes handle different CG positions, I'm sure it would be fine to fly the plane to check the CG.
