Jeff Myer's Quest. What a beautifull model. It fly well and had no problems with the wind. The only problem Jeff was complaining about was knife edge performance. It tends to pull towards the canopy.

Hum....

Come to think of it....Gary had quite a few incedents last weekend...

1. Dorked a Logo

2. Punctured a lipo pack in the crash

3. Over discharged / over current a lipo pack

4. Flew a fellow pilot's Tigra....within minutes.....slung a magnet in the motor.....which in turn.....caught the ESC on fire.....

A great looking B-25 with retracts. The retracts tended to be troublesome the last couple of flights I saw and the nose wheel wouldn't retract so belly landings were made. In each case they were perfect landings with no apparent damage. Those missions over Rabaul were rough

A fine Great Planes Corsair kit. Unfortunately, it wasn't ready to fly but it had some great cosmetic scale features on it; a bomb, rockets, exhaust residue, cockpit detailing. The fuselage was glassed and the model was very light. It was approximately 1/8 or 1/9 scale. It had fixed landing gear.

El Bandito. This jet has working retracts and flaps and flew several times. It flys fast and has great power for some great climbs. Very exciting to watch.

Jeff Myer's Peashooter. I've never really seen a Maxcim powered model fly. It flew really well. Here its flying early Sunday morning before the wind came up. Half and hour later the wind was blowing 15 mph.

I've been clicking refresh for the last half hour waiting to see if you got a good flight shot....

Thanks for taking the time to take and post the photos. I wish I would have given someone my video camera to film that flight...that was the first flight that made me feel good about building the plane.

I guess the highlight of the event must have been Rob Honeycutt's 33% Extra.

You can read details about it in the thread mentioned earlier in this thread. Here is another ground photo of it.

As other's have said, it was an historic event to see this model fly.
