Hi,
I want to share some tips of how we check and mod the HOR, and this is base on running without side bars. 1. Make sure everything is moving freely - Check the front wheel is not touching the fairing, if it is, cut the fairing - Check rear wheel too, it will touch the battery (try pushing the wheel up and down) - Rider must move smoothly without any abnormal click sound, check the middle driving rod, the rider body rod and the servo arm. - Check the gear without loading the wheel and motor, make sure the chain and bearing is smooth - Check the front and rear wheel without loading, they should spin freely for 1 minute at least by hand - Try turning the front fork to left and right, make sure it doesn't touch the fairing, if so, cut the fairing - Push the front damper to the bottom, make it is smooth and the wheel won't touch the fairing 2. Tires - Use Kyosho options or ZH tires, they have better grip. - Tire inserts is a must, they provide better handling and give you better leaning angle. Different shapes have different handling, sharper front tire insert will have quicker response. - For the rear tire insert, we build from the 1/10 one. - For the front, we build a lighter 'flywheel' to replace original metal one. (just like the one selling in internet, but we haven't try it). If you don't have one, just buy an thin O-ring and put it outside the original flywheel, it will make a different. 3. Power - Most of us use brushless motor, from 5000 kv to 9000kv, ESC from 18a to 150a, there is no golden rule, just pick the one that and can fit the limit space. E.g. hobby wing 18a V2, tekin mini rage are not bad choices. - Battery is lipo, 1600 to 2200 - Drag brake/ manual brake can be used individually or at the same time, depends on your driving style, for me I use drag brake only 4. Option parts, we recommend to buy below items - Metal gear box - Metal rear arms - Rear Damper ( pick any that fits, like tamiya TRF) 5. Others - There is a rear disc brake on the right side, try replace it with the rear wheel's large gear (there should be spares from your new gear set). After install it, put some spacers on the left side of the wheel to make the wheel's position move right. It is because when you look from the back of the bike, the rear wheel is a little off center (to the left). - Put some weigh (10g -40g) at the bottom, under battery chamber or inside the chassis. This will make the bike more stable, adjust the rear damper accordingly. Hope this will help |

Actually it's $20.94 at the current exchange rate. I see they take credit cards, but i wouldn't do that. They also have a Paypal listed at the bottom and Alipay which is China's third party online pay system.
It also looks like you have to sign in to buy anything. They do ship to the states too. http://translate.google.com/translat...%3D1&sandbox=1 |
