I fly at 68mm and trim my speed mode such that I have a very minor pull-up in the dive test. I think you have too much up trim in speed mode. Good luck!

All right, ill keep trimming it down to see what happens. I wish the weather here in Michigan this time of year was more cooperative. It could be awhile before I get another try at it.

Thanks guys.

OK.. Down trim was the answer. Funny, it didn't feel like that the time I flew it before. I'm still fiddling with the trim but it's been pretty darn windy here this time of year and I'm having trouble finding my baseline.

Anyway, thanks everyone.

I am glad you got it figured out, Wiz. I plan to come out to The Bruce so find one of us and we will gladly help you get your plane trimmed and flying like the amazing glider it is.

Polaris tail feathers are a rare as hen's teeth. Call Bruce and see if he can help you.

BTW, both of my Polari are getting a rudder very shortly. I just can't stand not having control of yaw. It's not so much a coordinated turn thing when thermaling as it is a steering thing. I want to...ah... have to be able to make flat turns at low altitudes without dipping a wing. I know, it's prolly something I could eventually get use to but after awhile I suppose I could also get use to having only one arm but I don't have to and it's not an improvement in any way. At least it's not to me.

Got my new wings this week from productionman Peter at MMT! Weight incl servos 140g for 50g/m3 fabric of high modulus carbon spreadtow ....Super stiff wing!!!

Now I just need to secure + 150 g of ballast possibility for this light glider since I'll use it in ALL conditions.

To bad though that this fabric is out of production....

Looks great, Jonas! You have some nice wings! Peter is amazing!

Edit: What is up with the layup on the wing with the orange tips? Looks like you have Vlad layup aft of the spar. I am curious to see how this wing performs.
