UM PoleCat or UM Su-26xp

Has anyone had the opportunity to fly the Polecat? I am curious how it compares to the Su-26...

Huh? One is a 2s plane and the other is a 1s. I could understand if you said Polecat versus Su-26 but the Sbach and Polecat are worlds apart.

i guess what i meant was it just seems to me the sbach does eveything the polecat could do just better with brushless and extra power. Though now looking at it i had thought the polecat was more expensive than it was and there is a large price gap between the sbach and polecat.

Btw rp did you get my last pm about the servos? i never heard back from you

Pole cat is a diff machine. It is also a brushed motor with thinner wings. I prefer the sbach more.

... So I am unsure if anyone really answered; has anyone in our groups even flown the Polecat? I know most of us have owned at least one version of the UM Suk ...

I have flown both. The Polecat is a little less twitchy and more stable. It flies nice, but is no 3D plane. Not nearly as fast as the Sbach. About the same speed as the UM Mustang and the Sukhoi, but it seemed to fly better and be more stable at lower speeds.

I flew the Polecat in a bit of wind and it handled it pretty well.
