is this a kind of KK type board but using mems gyros instead of peizo gyros? or does it have auto leveling as well?

no external xtal or accelerometer in sight, so looks like a plain old kk board with mems gyros....
oh yes, and some dip switches so you can accidentally change copter configuration without realising

I hate switches. just another thing to fail. prefer jumpers or flashing the right firmware. otherwise, just another kk variation.

just as great as an arduino pro mini + itg3205 gyro then, or around $26 to make a board that will basically fly the exact same way but be very tunable compared to 3 trim pots?

bdpowers , so I decided to order one of these, are they in stock, and do they come with reciever cables, and where will it be shipping from? also what is the differences between the flight modes.

Yup there seems to be a new controller out of China every few weeks. It would be nice if they advanced the art but they are all just lousy knockoffs.

Yes, they are available, and will be shipped from Chicago tomorrow morning. No, it doesn't come with any cable for now.
