Yeah RC711 have them for US$75.90.

Are they suppose to be a updated version of the 260A?

I won't buying one due to NE Rx concerns. I wonder if the NE 270A Rx are more robust than the last batch of NE 260A Rx.

The NE 270A reminds of a Bravo SX with Xtreme feathered shaft head & metal swash ball as stock features.

My 260a rx's are doing fine, but still won't be getting a 270.

Wake me up when the solo pro is flybarless and bindable to a Turnigy 9x.

Me too, seems like a good thing. I also hope QC on the receiver has returned to 2010 levels. With so many FP competition lately, you need more than some improvements to stand out.

ehirobo is now selling this heli for 73 bucks, RTF.

Check out this picture, though...

The flybar is practically touching the tail boom!!! What a disaster... No subtrim or EPA adjustments available with this transmitter, either, is there? Blah...

Hi Chris, I think this is a perspective effect. We can see the blades are aligned with tail boom so the 45 flybar is still far from the boom.
I don't say the flybar cannot hit tail boom during flight, I would only show my opinion about that picture.

Cheers,
Tony

It all depends on the max angle the flybar can reach. The GW9958 also has the flybar below the blades, but doesn't have flybar strikes. We'll have to wait for the first flight reports...

Mine just showed up...
Flew really stable but slow, probably cause im used to a shortened swash solo now , I went to to do my endpoint adjustments, no dice. No subtrims, No EPA adjust.
no flybar strikes either, which was a plus. The new head seems sturdier. It also thinner blades that dont tapper but good lift.
I like the new head, gonna try and put it on an old solo cause the TX is really dissapointing. I tried to find a secret btn but this thing really looks like it cant be subtrimmed at all.
and unbindable to 260tx...

Do you have the original Solo Pro to compare it to? From your first impressions, I probably will go with the 260...

yea i would go with the 260, but it may be nice to put a 270 head on it later.
get one for 40.00 from myrcmart

my 260 is amazing with a solo magic canopy, shortened swash arms, theextreme skids, and a lil bend in the tailboom with a paperclip attached to the frame...

but the 270 is soo goood tooo arg. its almost perfect, but the tx... kills it.

but maybe the best option is the v911 with the turnigy tx who knows at this point with so many choices
