Has anyone recovered / repainted a 110 ? My Red and White one, so many years old, is going under the knife....

It's a twin engine, powered by Supertiger .90's...I had thought about a Military Scheme, something like a Recon plane....anybody have pics of theirs, redone ?

I am currently recovering one from stock covering. I'm using Monokote Flat black in the military flats. Will post pics when finished.

Here are a couple others that have been done. The green one belongs to my buddy and is done in Sig Koverall and butyrate dope. The white one was done in Solartex.

Thanks for the pics..I got some ideas from that....It's interesting that there are very few straight lines on the refinished paint / trim schemes....She's a curvy bird.

I have 1 used as from the factory, and 1 that's been repaired at one end but not shaped with fiberglass / filler. You pay for the 'ride', and they're yours.

I have a new in box red and white wing set (with flaps) with a new set of wing struts. If Sig ever had them in stock, they would cost $250.00. I'll sell the wing set and the struts as a set for $150.00 plus the cost to ship them. I'm only selling them together though. I haven't listed them yet.

I appreciate the quick replies fellas. I have reached out to epoxyear to get his.

Skyjet, Sig tells me there are 2 versions of the plane and the struts are not interchangeable. One version uses a flat wing joiner (like I have) and the other (newer) one uses a round wing joiner. Which wing do you have?

USMA82, I did try there and Sig no longer carries my version wing struts.

These are the ones for the 'spade' wing joiner, rather than a wing tube.

PM received and answered- they're yours.

Mine has the flat wing joiner.

I recently converted my fuselage to accept the newer wing. The struts are compatible with either - just the newer wing uses larger bolts, so you might have to enlarge the hole.

The newer wing doesn't quite fit, but with some effort, it's close enough.
