After completing my minimum I want to make an indoor model and a bigger model (1.5m rotor diam.)

Do you guys know where I can find (buy) plans?
I would like to equip the bigger gyrocopter with a pre-rotator system. And some lights .

Jasper,
I see no reason why a single blade shouldn't be able to fly, but Im not chopping a hammer up! its my favourite tool

Jasper There is a smaller version of the Minimum called a Nanogram. Shown here with a Minimum. And for a larger version, possibly you can just enlarge a plan??

Would the nanogram fly indoor? Don't you need a lot of room for a gyrocopter.
Is there not an autogyro made out of 6mm depron?

And for the bigger model I was thinking about a Cierva C30A.

Jasper,
If you are going indoors may I suggest the fitment of a rudder. I played early on in the year with a small pusher type micro autogyro, it was made from depron and just sanded to shape.
For its size it flew quite well, I did plan on trying indoors but never got round to it. I am sure with a rudder fitted I could fly it indoors as it would tighten up the turns some what.
In the end one of the motor wires broke and that was that, has ended up being hung in my shed with its servos moved to another model.

Radio controlled Micro pusher autogyro the 'Stiletto' (3 min 37 sec)

Another good model is the TWIRL, you will see many videos of the designer Al Foot flying indoors with his.

Because two is better then one, I deciced to make a new gyrocopter.

Most of it is designed by me, but the big proportions are scaled up from a plan (factor 1.4). I just made it more scale looking with the help of some details like the rotary engine, tail fins, landing gear and pilot.

Some improvements:
- elevator and roll are controlled by the rotorhead (rotor of original model has only roll control)
- ball bearing inside rotorhead
- stronger (full fuse and not 6mm depron fuse, although my landing gear is a bit fragile because I wanted to build it scale)

The big advantage compared to the minimum is that the rotors are made out of 6mm depron and the blades flex, so I don't need any hinges.

All I have to do now is paint it in grey, and add some Belgium decals

The c30 weights 570grams and the minimum weights 630 grams.

Here a picture of the 2 blades of the cierva compared to the 2 blades of the minimum (maybe I will try a one bladed version on my c30)

With a piece of fuel line I could make a good hinge.

I've changed the carbon plate of the minimum rotorhead with a thin layer of plastic.

Stick to it.....long learning curve......like the hovering....pretty windy....possibly a little more power for your wind conditions...keep up the good work.....
Happy Landings
