My pleasure, here are the rest of the pictures of S.L. Eagle that I have on my computer. The hull is 1915 and the engine is aprox 1900. The engine is detuned to .6 hp and moves her aprox 6 mph. She is a great boat to run and many fond memories on her. There are also a couple of pictures before my Dad restored her. Just found out that I can only post a few at a time so I will do a second post with the rest

Very nice pictures. Why has the engine been detuned?

The engine was a 1 hp engine and is actually larger than what the boat needs. Actually saying detuning might be wrong. Being too large was using much more steam than necessary. So the person who we got the boat from added some material to the valve in the steam chest to lower the volume of steam going into the cylinder, then the timing was also adjusted to be correct for the new set up. I normally run between 90 and 100 psi, it is fired with a 40 lb propane tank under the front seat, this gives me between 8 to 12 hrs steaming. The variables are air & water temp, speed I am cruising at and how much people want to hear the whistle blow. It is an open system.
