How about a scale model of a scale model ?

It seems that the US Navy is operating an unmanned scale model of a Virginia-class sub in Lake Orielle, Idaho.

The sub is 111 ft long, and 10 ft in beam , 205 tons displacement, and entirely unmanned !
They term it an LSV ( Large scale vessel) .........0.294 scale of
an actual Virginia.

Has anyone on this forum seen this monster ?

That would be the Cutthroat (LSV-2); http://www.navsource.org/archives/08/08357.htm

They also have a 1/4 scale Seawolf model there with a 90' loa.
