Can you Upgrade Realflight G3.5 to 6?

It is a bit unclear as to whether this is possible or not.

Thanks,
Ben

Great Planes has been asked by KE to address that question. Many people are in your situation. KE has stated that your Interlink has been tested, and does work in RF6. It is possible to enter your serial number for your Interlink, which has a different middle 2 characters,

I upgraded to G-5 from G-3.5 and a week after I upgraded of course they came out with 5.5. It was a lengthy download from Realflight to go from G-5 to G-5.5 with Dial Up, but, I got it done. So, without doubt you can go from G-3 to G-5.5 and my Interlink works fine. I have given G-6 a cursory look-see and am not certain of the benefits for me to jump from 5.5 to 6. Truth be told I'm getting tired of the software companies taking away more and more of my hard earned income just for a little blip in performance. Trouble is everything in software is obsolete far to soon. You gonna play the game you gotta pay the piper!

I have never had a software company take money from me. I think I'd be more than a little mad if any company did that.

You go to your hobby shop and buy the G5 upgrade for $50, which is outdated. I'd recommend buying the RF6 upgrade instead for the same $50. Then you're current.

It's not that simple. You can upgrade RF4 to RF5 but not 3.5 to 5 or even 4. All the upgrades apply to 4 and above. If you bought 3.5 you're just stuck but if you bought 4 you can upgrade to 7.5 at no charge. The people in this thread were looking for some kind of hack, as am I. The cheapest route I guess is buy a 5 at some used bookstore/software store for 15 bucks and go from there.
