A Pond Racer or Long-Ez would be very cool, although I've never heard anything about the Long-Ez being hards to fly.

I second the pond racer, that'd be awesome
Also the su-47 (btw it was only anproof of concept, I almost think it's still flying)

For something that was notoriously hard to fly, how about a Flying Bedstead? Should be no problem with the HT's brick & the appropriate programming:

The Flying Bedstead 1954 (1 min 0 sec)

4 "must-release" micros

1) Snoopy's Doghouse (along with Red Barron's Triplane) complete with in air combat system of some sort. Imagine telementry scoring for "hits"!

2) The Concorde

3) Terrafugia (world's first mass produced flying car). Of course it should also function as an RC car

4) Harrier Jump Jet. Perhaps the best-known VTOL. Would need to design some sort of micro thrust vectoring ...but just think how many hobbyist would like to tinker with micro-sized EDF!

Skymaster, yes! That one crossed my mind also and would be fairly simple..had it filed for later lol

I was out flying a few weeks ago...my field is just at the 3mi mark to our local muni....I know the sound of just about every f/s aircraft that flies in and out...suddenly heard this bizarre indescribable whining/whistling engine sound heading my way on an outbound radial...

...yup...Beechcraft Starship...passed overhead @ 1500AGL and pulling hard...I was all agape lol. That was a first!

Would make a great UMX.

We really need those UMX retracts....

Osprey, Might need some skilled engineering to me a UM, as even the 1:1 aircraft seem to have numerous incidents because of critical failure.

I think they should just pretend the UM series never existed and redo them with this new gyro system.

Canadair Dynavert tiltwing...

Except for the micro-retracts...this could be done right now...just need a channel available for the tilt servo...
