Inside, Vtx and Uhf are in the wings.. Everything else (gps, osd board) etc are buried in the wing root t leave plenty of room for lipo.

It's about 400g RTF with UHF and osd.
Running a axi 2204-54 on 6x5 and it pulls 7A max.
15 min flights on a 1300 3s
Max speed is about 85km/h and will cruise at 40-50km at 3A.

I'll be keen to try all the gear in a mini-Z.

Chris.
Nice. I see it works with FPV gear. What type of foam? I bet it doesn't stand up to a Zephyr resiliency.

Thanks foam is like a hybrid Epp type (same as most hk foamies)
It's funny cause it only weighs 400g it bounces pretty well!

The Mini Z, is tuff!
I have bounced mine about 15 times trying to find the right CG.
It has the same weakness as the bigger ones.
But I think as long as you get the nose up before it hits the ground there is no damage except for knocking off the winglets.

Just use more plumbers goop on the winglets. Of course next time they may stay on and the wing gets the hurting.

Well after flying way to many wings, What I have found is it is better to have them come off in a crash
If you use sheet rock anchors you can have them pop off and not even loose the screw!
That is the ticket!

I am uploading a video of me flying the Mini-Z in the rain with a wing camera on it!
Still gray here, but I got out a flew it!
Can't wait tell it starts snowing. I am trying to get a bunch of guys together to fly Mount Hood and Ski Doo!
They let me fly there in the summer twice so winter time should be cool!

I know things will fry but at least some gear including the wing is recoverable.... Thanks

Lol it could be either but hopefully not at all, the water stretch is a straight run. Flyin happens over the mountain and lake

As for your camera man. Tell him to lay off the coffee for a while. It makes the video real jittery.

I apologize to you and your son for miss identifying the problem with the video taker.

That condition is very stressful for any age.
