seems the V100D03B feathering shaft fits the genius.. it comes with two types of bushings.. i think stiffer bushings will help. flying indoors while hovering it seems so "floaty" (toilet bowl effect) probably a better term.

debating of getting the xtreme metal swash as well.. more interested in how much it weighs over stock though.

edit; actually after checking, the V100D03 feathering shaft only comes with 1 bushing set, the other is the collar for the bushing it seems.

I think it was Farmer Dave who used small o-rings, but was unabe to come up with the size or p/n. I checked Home Depot and they have squat.

Have you tried both types of bushings? how do they differ in terms of flight characteristics?

and same here on the swash, wish they post up the weight difference like how rakonheli does. Thumbs-up to rakonheli for that.

i have not tried, but actually looking for alternative/options. i have good amount of "wiggle" in the blade holders and i don't have more than 30 flights on the heli.

onto another note, has anyone removed the RX to level it? i'm assuming the rear of the RX has to be lifted to be level while in the air? i order some Kyosho Zeal to use instead of foam.

getting some vibration, i can see the tail fin vibrating while in-air, not a whole lot, but noticeable.
yet i haven't really crashed the bird, only minor one time on carpet. going to replace the main shaft to see if it solves it. gear and everything else seems ok..

I think the o-ring size is 003 according to US o-ring size standard.
There is also an oversized o-ring that might fit.
From top of my head in metric 1.42x1.52 and 1.42x1.78 mm.

Paul
