You seem to be lacking in empathy. Glue the stab on if you don't need to pack it away in its box. Meanwhile, try to understand that being able to store plans in their original box is very useful for some people. Also, understand that your car might be bigger than a lot of other people's.

Other models which fit in their boxes are the Graupner Elekro Rookie and the Elektro Rookie QR. Boxes can be stacked on top of each other during storage and transport. Jürgen |

for this amount of money you shouldn't wait...just try one...and the removable stab was on the Elektro Rookie from Graupner from almost 2 years now...also a better motorisation included in kit...:P

OUT HERE IN KANSAS
I have a one ton pickup truck. LONG BET A 2002 Buick Park Ave. WITH LARGE TRUNK WIDE OPEN SPACE to fly ALMOST , NOT A TREE IN SIGHT. I glue the wings in, set everything up. and go fly. OOOPPPS . Still learning after 40 years Love my org. EasyStar. Have an Bixler/sky surfer in the hanger. Looking forward to the new EasyStar II. I know one thing for sure, The ES has a much stronger body and wings then the SS . So, should be a great plane for us student pilots. SARG5 |

Re the tailplane.............
and I never, ever thought I would hear myself say this but.......... I agree with Gerry____ ............ For lots and lots of people - especially those living in countries where a 2 litre (122 cu in) car engine is considered large, and petrol is over $8 / US gallon - the removable tailplane means being able to pack it in a regular rectangular box for ease of storage and transportation. |

But I've got to a point in my life where if I really want something, then I recognise that I will have to pay - so I'm saving up already!!! |

Our "big" car is a VW Golf. We've traveled with 4 adults + luggage for a week. A good plane I can transport in its box is something I've wanted for a while now. I was highly disappointed when I had to glue on the tail for the E*.
