Cool, it'd be nice to have one to replace the one I crashed on pavement and destroyed over 50 years ago.

Notice in her description she didn't refer to her husband's items as her Late husband. Hmmm, I hope she has his permission to sell them.

Remind me of an F/S add I saw years ago in the APBA magazine for a racing boat and spare engines(It was under a woman name with phone #), was something like:

".........If a man answer, hang up!"

erm.. "Won" is an entirely subjective viewpoint
Paid too much for a load of useless Crap is another subjective viewpoint as well.. both are defensible and entirely dependent on one's own World view

Won is a subjective term. In my almighty yet still humble opinion I did "win" the engine. I have already cleaned it up and given it new gaskets, O ring and glow plug seal and am looking forward to running it. Also, I am fortunate enough to be able to share one of the other engines in the auction with another modeler. All in all, I will get more than enough pleasure from this transaction to consider it a GREAT deal!

I consider it winning for me today because a generous fellow hobbyist gave me a nice Tee Dee .049 and wanted no money in return!
I can't wait to get it flying. I'll probably try it out first on my Stuntman23 since it's already outfitted with a tank.
