My wife stays in the car or goes across the road to craft store.

Why don't women like to fly toy airplanes? :P I don't understand! Yet they expect us to care about new paint for the house and drapery for the bathroom. Women are odd creatures.

As far as I'm concerned, the walls can stay white and we can use tarps from home depot to cover the windows. The tarps are also multi-use.

Agreed

Especially when they ask you, "how do you like this shade of white?", my response

"it looks the same as the other whites"

Lol

That new beast does sound tempting ! damping out the wind effects is a big possibly buying point for me

I have to say looking at the parts for this plane has gotten me really excited at the prospect of flying it, mainly because the parts cost so much less than my hh parts.

servos are 3.77, rx is 10, compared to 20 and 70 respectively for my umx models... don't get me wrong, I love my 2 beasts, sbach, and I'll love my gee bee I'm sure, but I just had another beast aileron crap out on me and it's starting to add up. (not a huge fan of the linear servos period, here's hoping the slick's work well)

I agree, that's what I like about it as well. Linear servos suck. The one in my T28 is already semi-dead (locks up in flight) after about 30 packs. This bird should be good. Lipos got mailed today as well, one each Zippy 180 and 350. We'll see.

I'm newer and not a 3d flyer, but I really can't wait as more of these micro series are released. I really do like tbe use of real parts instead of micro 5n1's. I really hope these are quality releases with continual part support as I really see them possibly being contenders in the micro world.

good to see reviews from rcgroups on those servos, the ones on the hk website are less than convincing the shipping time is killing me though
