1/15th Scale Falcon Model's DH60 "Cirrus Moth" kit Build**

Hi Guys,
This is my 1/15th Falcon Model's DH60 "Cirrus Moth" build with "mods" to make it looking like a" De Havilland D.H. 60 Gipsy Moth". The full Scale is owned by my good friend Gary Sewall. So I will paint it just like his.
He sent me Scale wings drawings as you see in the photo, his Drawing is on the Bottom, so I can build it as Scale as I can
Wing is 618mm or 24" 3 channel R/E/Motor I will use Spektrum Dsm2 ultra micro receiver/esc/servo brick, Parkzone motor and gearbox.
Lots of ribs "60" in all and "80" riblets!!! in the four wing pannels!! and carbon rods for the trailing edges
Ok Lets get started on it!!!

Looking good, I always liked Falcon kits..

I thought these kits were no longer available, was it bought earlier, or are they available now?

Bulent,

Nope. Sadly they're no longer being manufactured.

I exchanged emails with Chris of Falcon and asked about them. I had their DH-2 kit in my stash. When Chris told me they wouldn't be making anymore kits, I immediately ordered one of his DH-82 Tiger Moth kits and his Eastbourne Monoplane kit. Those were the only two kits they had any quantity left in stock. This was back in August. Don't know what they've got left now.

I actually asked Chris that same question but got no response. You may want to shoot him an email and ask for yourself.

First Cirrus Moth wing done

Hi Guys,
Here is the first wing panel done, and after hours of building. As these ribs
are small it's easy to swear at times so a nice glass of wine, will help to keep
things going smoother Only 3 more panels to go!!

Gorgeous structure there!

With the lightening holes in the wing ribs and the CF trailing edge, this is an authentically modern kit...pity they're OOP, but I'll be watching for any that show up. Nice job
