Jim,
How much wieght do those lights add to the Yak? Are you using a small car battery, or an extention cord to power it?
Waiting for the UFO reports coming out of Southbridge

The weight without battery is 325g or 11.4oz. My previous one was in the 230g range. The lights are 10-11g per meter, that plane has 6 meters on it and all the glue to attach them to the airframe. Each meter draws 400mah so i am up in hte 2.5amp additional draw range. I'm flying 1000mah batteries and then 1300s when I run out of those. It flies heavy but it flies similar to my others. There will be UFO reports in the near future as i want to take it down to the local school yard

A visit to Star Hill today

Just a reminder there is no flying this (Black) friday in Auburn.

I went down to the Star Hill Sportsplex in Tolland CT today to give it a try. The roof is so high, it's amazing. There were 10+ pilots there and we had three soccer fields open to fly in and each person seemed to find their own spot out of the way. The majority were flying Champs and Embers and similar stuff. There was one Extra 300 and a couple of flat foamies (which I never saw fly) I flew my 4-Site and Polecat

Tolland is 1-3pm on wednesdays. The guys were saying they let them in a little early if they get there. I never got asked about AMA but it is wide open to anyone. it was $10 for the two hours but he only charged me $5 for getting there at 1:30. Since they have multiple areas, you don't get bumped for bookings, they have multiple sections

I plan on going tomorrow (12/16). Didn't somebody have a cheap, programmable voltage monitor they were showing off? Please post a link if you can.

Thx
