Phrank, do you want me to tell him you would've answered his question on the KE forums, or should I?

I would've asked there, but at the time I didn't have authorization to post the question there.

Just got RF6 for Christmas. Everything works great except I can't change the view settings. Fixed position is my only choice...Any ideas?

Switch to a 3D airport, like Joe's Garage. The view at photofields is fixed.

Head Tracking

Has anybody notice that the View menu has a Head Tracking option? What kind of equipment do you have to have plugged into your PC to turn this ON?

How so cool would this be?

Previous versions of Real Flight have supported the TrackIR product

Anybody know how well RF6 works on a Core 2 Duo with 256 mb card; this is in my imac but I would need to buy windows XP or 7 too, for bootcamp.

Its a shame they dont make RF for macs.

So how has the heli physics improved in RF6? Does it still compare poorly to Pheonix?

RF5.5 has been pretty bad in my experience vs the real life micros I fly...

The heli physics were a total re-write. I'm quite confident that you will find they are the most accurate physics model you will find anywhere.

Many hobby shops have a RealFlight 6 kiosk running in the store, stop by and see for yourself.

Here is a little more insight into what we put into RealFlight 6.

Really, you are going to need to try it to find out. Others can tell you what we think, but we don't know what is important to you. There is a guy out there that argues hard for RF3 being the best for Heli in the RF series. And for him, it is. Get my point?

Personally, I own a MSR, and an MCPx. I own both Realflight 6 and Phoenix 3. I don't feel the need to switch back to Phoenix if I want to fly a helicopter. But then I'm not a hotshot heli 3d pilot either. I'm good enough to try 3d (and sometimes succeed) in the simulator, but I would never try that stuff on my MCPx yet.
