Help!

help soooon


have to design a rc aircraft of wingspan 59 cm and chord length 10 cm so as to get aspect ratio of 5.9... i want lift a payload of 5kg.. thae max dimensions should not exceed 60 cm and max weight not beyond 500g. am using balsa 5 mm for fuselage.. some one plzz help me which AIRFOIL would be the BEST to life 5 kg..HELPPPPP SOOOOON.... WILL BE REALLY GRATEFUL ..can i use kf m3 airfoil ?

Let's see, you want to lift 5500 grams on a 5.9 sqdm wing? That's 917 g/sqdm (300 oz/sqft for our imperial friends). Even a tenth of that would be considered heavy.

IMHO, it is safe to say that there is no airfoil that can do it.

I agree with jkettu, that looks totally impossible using the wing for lift. Even a helicopter or vertical lift model within those dimensions and restrictions, (max weight 500g, payload 5kg), would fail as well.

Are you sure your figures are correct ?
