Yet another company with ties to the progressive left hiding profits off shore.

If these people really did support the paying of higher taxes by corporations, why are they laundering their profits off shore so as to avoid paying taxes?

"Yet another..."? Don't ALL multinational corps do that?

(Many of ours here do that.. )

(Of course Goat would probably say that such "ensuring you keep the money you make" activities are right and proper for them! )

Don't get me wrong ... I have no issues with Google doing what they do. I just find it ironic that a company who's motto is "Do no evil" and who's CEOs have supported higher taxes, practices legal tax evasion. Perhaps they support higher taxes, because they know that they can legal avoid paying them any way?

another great example would be Warren Buffet ... he wants to increase taxes on the rich ... and yet his company owes as much as a billion in back taxes.

That is correct. But it does not apply to people who attack doing so and then do it.

Why not decrease his secretaries taxes, if the inequality is the problem? Or pay her more in such a way as to lower her taxes like his?
