Thanks Peter, yeah there are some pretty amazing raw materials on the market these days, if you don't mind the time and effort it takes to put them all together.

Suppo makes the 3126 in a 2200kv which should be a good match for this type assy in the 2kw range. HK doesn't carry the 2200kv,but it's out there. Also I'm sure that there are plenty of other motors out there that will work. But for $20 it's hard to beat the Turnigy /Suppo line.

Not sure about the overall size etc for a typical 70mm use, but I wouldn't mind that ability to have a cheap motor setup (like this 3126) that can easily drive the CS10 in its stride. Not for massive power, but just so it is easy for it and reliably provide what you set it up for.

Exactly, so many 70mm systems are over stressed, and unreliable as a result.

All that happen above 46k rpm.
So is a comfirm rotor give up above 46k rpm.
So watch out and kept it under 44.5kw with nice balance rotor you guys will had good fun with it.
I working fine tuning high effecient 2kw 6s set up to spin 43.5k RPM for every day fun flying without worry about blades blew up.
Only things left is FOD...which no one had control over FOD.
Here the Max RPM is listed at 52,000. It's probably wishful thinking on their part or perhaps a misprint. But max power is listed at 1800 watts.

Yes, conflicting specs (as is very common).
You wouldn't get 52k RPM with 'just' 1800W anyway. So the "maximums" don't even agree.
And if Tam blows them up at 46k then that is a pretty solid 'fact' to go by, rather than manufacturers (or suppliers via whoever) claims.

That is what testing things yourself is good for... or..... FORUMS. hehe

Thats why my 6s setup runs at 40K+/- rpm and 1400-1600w (battery dependant). Better to be safe than sorry, and besides who wants to carry massive packs round just to power it in the average 70 size model.

If you knew better, you would be surprised how many people carry massive packs.
